PART 12: For the hard working teachers who’ve had to put up with disruptive students all year round, parents’ evening is an opportunity to sort things out. Unacceptable behaviour can be drawn to their parents’ attention and appropriate action taken there and then. This has come as quite a shock to the unsuspecting Joel Towne who’s never experienced such harsh discipline in his life. He’s soon learning that a privileged background means nothing to the strict Miss Holten.
