Elizabeth Joyce is a very busy woman. Along with her mother and sister she owns and runs the hotel and there never seems to be enough hours in the day. Having to recruit a new bellboy is a chore she could do without. Nonetheless she won’t accept Jordan until she has satisfied herself of his suitability. She will only take the very best and expects all her staff to be obedient and deferential.
